# Panda Streamer > Panda Streamer is BAM Studios' visual cueing system for ADR (automated dialogue replacement), designed and built in-house in Chicago. Streamers, the 3·2·1 countdown with beeps, the line and the take number appear on the booth monitor over the picture, driven by Pro Tools, so the actor sees and hears exactly when to come in. It runs on BAM's four ADR stages and is not sold separately: clients use it by booking ADR at BAM Studios. ## What the actor sees and hears - Streamers that wipe across the picture and punch on the cue's In frame; length, direction, colour and width can be set. - Flutters and a large 3·2·1 counter that lands on each beep. - The character and line in a band over the picture, a cue and take badge, and Recording and Playing lights. - An optional burned-in timecode window and masks to cover a client's burn-ins or letterbox bars; masks are saved with each show's job. - BAM's reference beeps, which can be changed to suit the actor. The engineer usually slates; a spoken slate is optional. - An actor's preferred streamer look can be saved under their name and recalled in any of BAM's rooms. ## How it works with Pro Tools - Follows Pro Tools' timecode, so each cue fires by itself at the right moment; timing is clock-based and lands on the frame. - Play, record and stop each cue from the cue list; takes are counted when Pro Tools records. - A take stopped during the pre-roll or the countdown is aborted: the take number goes back and the recording is undone. - Creates Memory Locations for every cue, names record tracks per cue, moves the original line to a guide track, and reads the session's timecode rate and start. - Grabs a cue's In or Out from where Pro Tools stopped. ## Cue sheets and sessions - Reads clients' PDF ADR cue sheets (traditional sheets and actor's and engineer's lists), several at once, plus subtitle, text, spreadsheet and MIDI files. Revised sheets add only new and changed cues and keep recorded takes. - Jobs are saved on BAM's server and open in any room; take grids, engineer and supervisor per character, and mixer, actor and full printed sheets. - The supervisor can follow and edit from a laptop on the studio network, with the room's access code. - Narration mode (manuscript with punch-in and a take log) and teleprompter mode. ## ADR at BAM Studios - Four dedicated ADR stages in two Chicago locations: Studio Z at CineBAM on the Cinespace Film Studios lot, and Studios A, B and C at BAM HQ in River North. - Feature films, TV and streaming series, commercials, trailers and promos, documentaries, animation and games. ADR supervision, loop group and walla. - Remote ADR with Panda Patch, BAM's browser-based remote session app: the actor sees the same picture, streamers and beeps from a laptop anywhere. - BAM has worked in audio post since 1987. ## Links - [Panda Streamer](https://pandastreamer.com/) - [BAM Studios](https://bamstudios.com/) - [BAM's ADR stages](https://bamstudios.com/adr/) - [Book a session](https://bamstudios.com/contact#book) - [Panda Patch](https://pandapatchapp.com/) Contact: info@bamstudios.com · 312-255-8862 · 1 East Erie Street, Chicago
